Biking Opportunities

Biking is permitted on all Hanson trails. Whether you're riding a traditional bike or an electric bike (e-bike), you'll find scenic routes through our conservation areas and natural spaces.

Trail Information

All Hanson conservation areas welcome bikers on their designated trails. Routes vary from flat, easy rides to more challenging terrain with elevation changes. Most trails feature natural surfaces including dirt paths, gravel, and some paved sections in certain areas.

Best Route for Biking

Burrage Pond Conservation Area is the recommended destination for biking. Its well-maintained paths and relatively flat terrain make it ideal for cyclists of all skill levels, including those using electric bikes. The scenic pond views and accessible route make it a favorite for recreational riding.
